The Renault team (previously Benetton) has announced a management change at senior level. With effect from 1st March, Jean-Jacques His, formerly Technical  Director, will replace Christian Contzen as General Manager of the team, which is based at Viry-Chatillon, outside Paris and at Benetton's existing facility at Enstone in Oxfordshire.

He has a strong track record as an engine designer and is regarded as the "father" of the V10 which brought Renault several world championship titles between 1992 and 1997.
