Giancarlo Fisichella and Takuma Sato spent an entertaining evening on Wednesday night, when they both attended a performance by the world famous Cirque du Soleil accompanied by their managers, Jordan's PR manager Helen Temple and team manager Tim Edwards.
This Montreal based circus puts on a fantastic show, with the performers displaying all the bravery, timing and skill which grand prix drivers can equate to. Their latest show is called Varekai and was staged in a Big Top in between downtown Montreal and the circuit. The two Jordan boys were more than impressed. "It was unbelievable, I've never seen anything like that before," said Taku. "Fantastic and incredible" were just two of the superlatives used by Giancarlo.
Cirqui du Soleil has a long association with Jordan, having previously performed at the Jordan car launch in 1999 in London's Royal Albert Hall, while owner Guy la Liberte is a friend of Eddie Jordan and has visited the team at Grands Prix.
