Former racer Andrew Gilbert Scott did some testing for the Jordan team last year, running straight line tests at Lurcy Levis in France. But it had more relevance when he got behind the wheel again, earlier this week at the Elvington strip, given that he is now Takuma Sato’s manager. Andrew was asked to do the straight line running to evaluate two new front wings. The testing threw up positive results and both wings have been brought to Austria. They are evolutions of the "drop down" one fitted to EJ12 since the start of the season. One has a fairly straight profile while the second can best be described as swoopy. Giancarlo and Taku reckon that both wings are an improvement over the original item.
