Testing for the 2005 Formula One season has resumed after the Christmas break. Williams, BAR, Renault, McLaren, Ferrari and Toyota have all been running over the last few days.
Former Jordan driver Nick Heidfeld has been in impressive form testing for BMW Williams, as he attempts to secure a race seat for the season ahead. Nick faces competition from Antonio Pizzonia as the Grove based team evaluate who is best suited to partner Mark Webber. Jordan's new engine supplier Toyota became the first team to run their 2005 car in anger when Ralf Schumacher completed 40 laps at Jerez on Tuesday.
