Between the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix, Giancarlo Fisichella returned to his home in Monaco to spend time with his family and to work on an intensive training programme, including running, cycling and gym sessions, in preparation for the physical demands of the Kuala Lumpur circuit.
Takuma Sato has been relaxing in Langkawi, a small island off the west coast of Malaysia, in the Andaman Sea, where continued his training for the Grand Prix, whilst acclimatising to Malaysian temperatures and humidity. "It's a great place to visit," said Sato, "I've done everything from running in the jungle, working out on the beach, going sailing for the first time in my life and taking a helicopter trip to see the local wildlife. I had breakfast with a group of Japanese travel journalists staying at the same hotel as me and even blessed a Japanese wedding couple who had their marriage ceremony by the sea."
