With not much hard F1 news at the moment, the Italian media has been flexing its "imagination" muscle, with suggestions that Ferrari might be trying to lure Juan-Pablo Montoya away from Williams. So, today, the Italian team issued a press release categorically denying the rumours.

"We think Montoya is a good driver," declared team boss Jean Todt.  "However, Ferrari has never had any contact with him, either directly or indirectly. We do not wish to give any credence to those who might have an interest in
promoting these rumours."
