The Malaysian Grand Prix weekend got underway on Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur, with Jordan personnel attending the usual round of official functions. Takuma Sato was chaperoned by Eddie Jordan when he attended a Gala Cocktail Party last night at a hotel near KL's international airport.
Once the official part of the evening was over, EJ continued his quest to play drums in more venues than Phil Collins, by getting behind the kit for a session at the city's Hard Rock Cafe. The team's press department is scouring local papers for reviews of his performance, while yesterday's DHL Jordan Honda pit stop practice made the front page of "The Straits Times," the biggest selling English language paper in the area.
The Malaysian GP takes place on St. Patrick's Day and Eddie Jordan will be digging out his DJ to attend a Saturday night function with the Irish Ambassador, Daniel Mulhall, while a team spokesman announced the cars would be using green petrol on race day - good news for Irish environmentalists!
