Jordan starts a three day test at Silverstone today, joining Williams, Renault, Sauber, Arrows, Jaguar and BAR at the Northamptonshire circuit which is quite literally across the road from the Jordan factory.

The opportunity to run the cars so close to home is good news for the team in several respects, as not only is it convenient for technical work and spare parts if they are needed, but it is also possible to invite guests who may not otherwise have a chance to see the cars in action. 

Jordan is hosting 250 sponsor guests and Club Jordan members each day of the test, meaning that by the end of the week some 750 people will have enjoyed hospitality, garage tours, paddock admittance and up-close access to the team, which is usually exclusive to the Grand Prix paddock.
