Jordan Grand Prix was honoured to host Her Imperial Highness Princess Akiko of Japan and Mr Orita, the Japanese Ambassador to London, at the Silverstone test session yesterday.

HIH Princess Akiko and Mr Orita met Jordan Chief Operating Officer, John Putt and Head of Marketing, Mark Gallagher, who showed the royal party round the team's Silverstone factory before accompanying them to the circuit to watch some of the track action at the test.  HIH Princess Akiko was very interested to look around the Jordan garage and she enjoyed lunch with team boss Eddie Jordan and Takuma Sato, Japan's most promising driver.

Takuma Sato said, "It was a really great honour for me to meet Princess Akiko and Mr Orita, and to show them around the team.  I think Princess Akiko quite enjoyed her visit and experience of Formula One - although I think she may have been surprised by how loud the sport is!"
