Jordan Ford is hopeful of qualifying inside the top ten after a promising practice session on Saturday morning which saw Brazilian GP hero Giancarlo Fisichella 11th fastest ahead of team mate Ralph Firman in 16th spot. Both drivers are aiming to improve in this afternoon's all-important qualifying run.
Fisichella and Firman ended practice with engine problems affecting their EJ13s, Fisichella's due to a broken water seal.
"It didn't really affect anything too much," said Team Manager Tim Edwards," as we were going to have to put fresh engines in for qualifying and the race so it hasn't caused any real extra work."
Rubens Barrichello was fastest in practice ahead of Ralf Schumacher, the German crashing his Williams heavily shortly before the end of the session. Mark Webber maintained his form with 3rd place for Jaguar while Kimi Raikkonen was 4th in front of Michael Schumacher's Ferrari.
