After enjoying a relaxing break in between the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix, it is business as usual this week for the DHL Jordan Honda drivers, who start testing in Barcelona today. Takuma Sato will be behind the wheel of an EJ12 at the Circuit de Catalunya, while Giancarlo Fisichella will take over for the Thursday and Friday.
Four teams were already in action in Spain yesterday, with Alex Wurz posting the fastest time (1.19.205) in his McLaren-Mercedes, in warm, sunny conditions. Next up was Rubens Barrichello, having his first ever drive in the Ferrari F2002. The Italian team's tester, Luca Badoer was also driving, switching between the F2001 used in the first two races of the year and the newer car. Ferrari is due to make a decision this week as to which car it will race in Brazil.
Renault tester Fernando Alonso was fourth fastest, shaking down a new chassis, while Juan Pablo Montoya and Marc Gene were in action for BMW-Williams.
