T-Mobile partners Jordan Grand Prix

T-Mobile is to become the official mobile provider to Jordan Grand Prix. The business supply deal provides Jordan Grand Prix with T-Mobile products and airtime to facilitate more efficient communication between the team and all its partners.

Travelling race team members will be able to stay in touch with each other, their business associates and colleagues as well as the factory staff at Silverstone via mobile voice and email services. Team members will have a choice of phones including Blackberry products and T-Mobile will also work with Jordan to introduce new products and services to improve and develop the team's mobile communication.

Christian Geistdoerfer, Commercial Director, Jordan Grand Prix said, "I'm really pleased to have T-Mobile included in our family of commercial partners. It's absolutely vital that members of a Formula One team are in touch with each other and with business partners as we travel round the world at the pinnacle of motor racing. We must be instantly contactable anytime and anywhere, and the innovative products services T-Mobile is providing will help us to be effective in that respect.”

Simon Ainslie, Sales Director at T-Mobile UK added, “The deal with Jordan Grand Prix illustrates our strong product and services portfolio which provides an effective way to ensure team members across the world can instantly communicate. At T-Mobile we’re constantly searching for ways to add value to the service we provide to business customers. We look forward to sharing the Jordan Grand Prix experience as we take advantage of the marketing and business opportunities which form part of the deal.”

The deal gives T-Mobile a range of marketing benefits to exploit the association with Jordan Grand Prix including Formula One hospitality and business networking opportunities, with access to Jordan's facilities for customer events.

About T-Mobile International
T-Mobile International is one of the world’s leading companies in mobile communications. As one of Deutsche Telekom’s three strategic business units, T-Mobile concentrates on the most dynamic markets in Europe and the United States. By end of 2004, almost 120 million people were using the mobile communications services provided by companies in which T-Mobile or Deutsche Telekom have a majority or minority stake. And all that over a common technology platform based on GSM, the world’s most successful digital wireless standard. This also makes T-Mobile the only mobile communications provider with a seamless transatlantic service.

T-Mobile also is partner of FreeMove, an alliance formed by four of Europe’s leading mobile companies - Orange, Telefónica Móviles, TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile) and T-Mobile – to help their customers communicate as easily while travelling abroad as they do at home.
