Rain and fog interrupted testing at Silverstone this afternoon when Jordan Ford completed a two day test session with Ralph Firman and Giancarlo Fisichella. 

Fisichella completed 14 laps and set the quickest lap time of the day with 1:22.38 before the rain started.  Firman added 50 laps to his testing mileage and was second quickest with 1:22.56.

The test programme continued yesterday’s work with tyre constructions, aerodynamic comparisons and control systems work, in addition to some wet tyre testing.

Gary Anderson, Director of Race and Test Engineering said, “It was a little bit difficult with the inconsistent weather conditions but we did some wet tyre testing and achieved some productive tests in the other areas we worked on.”
