Off-track success for Jordan

Jordan were causing a stir off the track over the weekend with the addition of the Jordan Village over at team’s Silverstone headquarters.

The village, which ran from Friday through until after the race on Sunday, proved to be a massive success and attracted more than 7,000 visitors. The occasion gave visitors the chance to buy exclusive signed Jordan merchandise whilst taking the opportunity to refresh themselves at the bar. However by far the most popular attraction at the village was the appearances made by the drivers and team boss Eddie Jordan.

The event’s organiser Claire O’Flynn commented: “This year was even bigger and better than last year. Over the weekend I had lots of positive feedback from the visitors with the general consensus being that the village was fantastic value for money. Most of them took the opportunity to stock up on team gear and take advantage of the chance to purchase exclusive signed memorabilia. We’ll definitely be doing it again next year and maybe on an even bigger scale!”

The entertainment didn’t stop when the on-track action finished, Jordan fans partied the nights away to live music courtesy of 14-piece soul band Chain Gang and helped along by a fully stocked bar. The Jordan Village had such an impact it even managed to encourage some defectors over the weekend with other team’s fans signing up to join Club Jordan after visiting.
