The FIA issued a press statement today 28th May, announcing that, after further checks, the electronic unit on Jarno Trulli’s car from the Monaco Grand Prix  did conform to the regulations and that therefore, the Italian driver and the Renault team keeps its fourth place finish in that race.

Apparently, a seal was no longer in place on the unit, but this is no longer an offence in itself, as long as when checked again, the unit complies with the regulations.

Therefore the results of the Monaco Grand Prix remain unchanged.
