Jordan Grand Prix will run two drivers at its major winter test at Jerez from Dec 3 - 5.
The Silverstone-based team has taken an option on the services of Nick Heidfeld, the 26 year
old German who will drive on all three days in Spain.
'Nick is a prime candidate for a revitalised Jordan Grand Prix next year and we are anxious for
him to start getting to know the team at this stage. It is an important test as we have got a lot of
new components to try as well as vital tyre testing for Bridgestone ' said team boss Eddie
Jordan.
Heidfeld will be joined at the test for two days by 20 year old Jarek Janis from the Czech
Republic who is tipped to be a leading contender in next year's International F3000
Championship, having already won races in the European series.
Jordan will have two Ford-powered EJ13 cars in Jerez next week and at Barcelona 20-23
January 2004. The all new Jordan EJ14 is due to be launched in the first week of February 2004.
