More progress despite windy weather in Valencia

VALENCIA, SPAIN
Wednesday 29th January 2003

Driver Giancarlo Fisichella
Chassis EJ13 / 02

The second day of Jordan Ford’s test session in Valencia ran as efficiently as blustery weather conditions allowed, with Giancarlo Fisichella completing 64 laps.

Fisichella was able to complete most of the day’s programme, which included aerodynamic and mechanical balance work and Bridgestone’s tyre programme, despite losing some time to a scheduled engine change and a mechanical problem relating to transmission set-up which caused his EJ13 to stop on the track.

Gary Anderson said, “ We accomplished all we could today, really, with a couple of minor problems costing us a small amount of time and then the very windy weather making it difficult to get good data.  At this stage it’s all about adding mileage though so I’m pleased we were able to do plenty of laps."
