Ferrari see their test programme disrupted after both Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello crashed and wrote off their cars at the Circuit de Catalunya this afternoon.

The 2001 World Champion hit a tyre barrier with the back of his car and went off in turn 12 of the Spanish circuit and a few hours later his Brazilian team-mate lost control of on the entry to turn 9 and hit the barriers hard.  Both drivers walked away unhurt, but the F2001s suffered damage which could not be repaired at the track, and with no spare chassis available the team has been forced to return to their base in Maranello.
