‘Can I get paddock passes or tickets to a race?’

Unfortunately we are unable to provide tickets or passes as, contrary to popular belief, teams are not provided with general entrance tickets to Grands Prix.  In addition, two motorsport bodies, the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) and FOA (Formula One Administration), strictly control the number of pit and paddock passes allocated to each team, based upon the number of team personnel and sponsors.

We are able to give fans quality access to drivers, EJ and the cars, at test sessions. Last year we invited hundreds of Club Jordan members to Silverstone and gave them paddock access and a chance to see the drivers and Eddie.  There's more information about Club Jordan in the J Stuff section of f1jordan.com.

‘How do I get a job with Jordan?’

Unfortunately we are unable to respond to speculative job applications.  If there are any vacancies you will be able to find them in the ‘Team’ section of the website, just click on the ‘careers’ icon to see if there are any positions being advertised.  The ‘Careers In Formula 1’ area also gives invaluable information about different roles within the team and the qualifications required for them.

‘How can I get information for an academic course?’

We cannot provide you with any information other than that which is publicly available on our website. This is due to a number of reasons, including confidentiality considerations, and unfortunately the high demands on the time and resources of our team mean we are unable to provide individual answers to the many enquiries and requests for information which we receive from students.

You should be able to find many details on this website.  The site includes information about the drivers, the car, history of the team and other content which you should find helpful.

Another useful website is the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, the organisation which regulates Formula One and other motorsports) www.fia.com. This site has a section called 70 Replies to your Questions about the Formula One World Championship, within the section called “Press”.

‘Do you donate items to charity?’

Jordan Grand Prix donates a large number of items to charity.  In order to ensure that we are fair, we focus all our efforts into support for our one official charity, CLIC, the childhood cancer and leukaemia organisation of which Eddie Jordan is patron.

‘Can I visit the Jordan factory?’

In order for the team’s operations to run efficiently with as little disruption as possible, the factory is not open to the public.  We arrange tours of the factory only for executives from our sponsor companies, and occasionally in conjunction with our supporters club, Club Jordan.

‘Can I attend a Jordan test day?’

As you can imagine, opportunities to visit teams up-close at test sessions are limited.  When we are able to work around these limitations, however, you will understand that we give priority to members of our supporters’ club, Club Jordan.  For example, last year, we invited hundreds of Club Jordan members Silverstone, where they had access to the paddock, interviews with the drivers, garage tours and occasionally tours of our factory, which is across the road from the circuit.
