Jordan 199 chassis number 3 has an excellent racing pedigree. It was used in 3 Grands Prix in 1999 with a best finish of second place in Australia, driven by Heinz-Harald Frentzen. It was also driven by Damon Hill and Heinz-Harald in warmup and qualifying sessions at 2 further Grands Prix and was used in several test sessions in the first half of the year.

Special conditions of sale

These conditions apply to all sales of non current formula one cars and no alteration or modification to these conditions will be binding on Jordan unless accepted by Jordan in writing.

1. Definitions and interpretation

In these terms and conditions the following words and expressions will have the following meaning:

Car

A non current formula one Jordan racing car without engine available for sale through the Site.

Jordan

Jordan Brand Limited (company number 03961186) and Jordan Grand Prix Limited (company number 02417588).

Site

the site on the world wide web located at http://www.f1jordan.com/.

Sponsor Logos

the visual representations of the team sponsors’ names and/or products as they appear on the Car.

We/Us/Our

Jordan.

You/Your

the person placing an order for a Car with Us.

2. Terms of Sale

2.1 Our general terms and conditions except condition 20 apply to these special terms and conditions.
  
2.2 You acknowledge that risk will pass to You on delivery.

2.3 You must satisfy Yourself as to the condition of the Car and are strongly advised to examine the Car personally prior to purchase. The Car is not for use on a public highway and Jordan gives no warranty or representation of any kind in respect of the Car other than a warranty as to good title and all other conditions warranties or representations express or implied, statutory or otherwise as to the state quality description or otherwise of the Car or its fitness for purpose are expressly excluded so far as is permissible by law.

2.4 You undertake that You:

2.4.1 will not without the prior written consent of Jordan alter in any way whatsoever the shape colour or appearance of the Car including livery;

2.4.2 will not without prior written consent of Jordan use or display the Car in any country in which tobacco or alcohol advertising is not permitted;

2.4.3 will not without prior written consent of Jordan alter the appearance or position of or obscure the Sponsor Logos on the Car;

2.4.4 will not hold Yourself out as being a representative of the Jordan;

2.4.5 will ensure all reasonably practicable steps and precautions are taken to ensure that Jordan does not suffer any loss or damage as a result of or in connection with the use, operation, control or display of the Car by You or Your representatives; and
 
2.4.6 will be solely responsible for obtaining any export licence that may be required in connection with the Car.

2.5 You acknowledge and confirm that You assume all risks involved in using the Car and hereby release Jordan absolutely from any loss, damage or injury including death that may be sustained by You or Your property or any third party or the property of any third party however sustained as a result of or in connection with Your use, operation, control or display of the Car provided that the provisions of this clause do not exclude liability for death or bodily injury caused by the negligence of Jordan or its employees.

3. Transfer by You to a third party

3.1 If You wish to transfer the Car to any third party You will immediately give notice to Jordan of such fact (Transfer Notice). The Transfer Notice will contain full details of the third party to whom You propose to transfer the Car (Transferee).

3.2 Within 14 days of receipt of the Transfer Notice, Jordan will notify You in writing either that Jordan will purchase the Car at the price agreed in good faith with the Transferee or that You may sell the Car to the Transferee.

3.3 You undertake that You will not transfer the Car to the Transferee unless such Transferee has first entered into an agreement with Jordan in the same terms as this agreement.

3.4 Except as may be required by law You undertake that You will keep confidential and not disclose to any third party any information which You have or may become aware of relating to the specification, design or performance of the Car without the prior written consent of Jordan.
