F1jordan.com prides itself on having really good photos and we are delighted to see that so many of our readers are so skilled in taking them! We had many entries to our competition for the best motorsport photo and we would like to thank everyone who entered.

The winner is Allan Priestley, whose photograph, below, taken at the 2001 British Grand Prix, captures the speed and excitement of Formula One. The photo was taken with a digital camera and enhanced using Photoshop to really emphasise these key qualities.

Forty-seven year old Allan, general manager of a Hampshire garage, has been following F1 for longer than he cares to remember. Commenting on how he took the winning photo he said "I'm afraid I can't remember the exact settings as I was experimenting and took hundreds! I also have several shots of an empty track and a lot of spray!".

Allan's prize is one of the exlusive new Autocourse annuals with Jordan cover.
