Trulli In FIA Press Conference Jarno Trulli joined fellow Italian driver Giancarlo Fisichella in Friday's FIA press conference at the Imola circuit in San Marino, alongside Jacques Villeneuve, Gerhard Berger, Adrian Newey and Ross Brawn.
Speaking about this hectic week in the build up to this weekend's Grand Prix, Trulli said, 'I have had a fun few days. First I flew to England to go on a P&O ferry from Dover to Calais and back for a promotion for our title sponsor Benson and Hedges. It was great fun, getting to look around the ferry, and also to do things with the people travelling to France for the Easter Holiday. We did things like Pit-Stop challenges and I answered lots of questions about F1 and signed autographs. Then I flew to Bologna to play in a charity football match with Giancarlo and Michael (Schumacher). I scored two goals so that was good!'
Speaking about his work at the track today, Trulli said, 'Our lap time was nothing special today, but we are happy with the work we did. The track conditions changed a lot during the day – from wet in the morning to dry in the afternoon, so we worked on lots of different set-ups and tried the different tyres.'
