13th and 19th in Morning Warm Up
22-oct-2000
Sunday Warmup - Malaysian Grand Prix 2000 Season
Starting at 10.30 this morning, the 30-minute warm-up was run in very hot and humid conditions. There were no major mechanical problems for Jordan Grand Prix, Jarno Trulli setting 13th fastest time, Heinz-Harald Frentzen 19th.

'A fairly routine session,' said Trevor Foster, Managing Director, Jordan Grand Prix. 'Both drivers were scrubbing in front tyres and we were generally getting ready for the race. It's going to be a long and tough one for the drivers in this heat, so the emphasis will be on looking after your tyres, trying not to make mistakes and taking advantage of others when they run wide - as will inevitably happen in the later stages. Above else, we've got to be around at the finish to collect points.'

Ricardo Zonta (BAR) was fastest with a quick lap in the last minute. Until then, the pace had been set by Mika Hakkinen (McLaren) and Michael Schumacher (Ferrari).
