Warming Up in Monza
10-sep-2000
Sunday Warmup - Italian Grand Prix 2000 Season
There were no problems for either driver as Jordan Grand Prix made final preparations during the 30-minute warm-up this morning. Heinz-Harald Frentzen was 12th fastest and Jarno Trulli 17th.

'We had no problems,' said Trevor Foster, Managing Director, Jordan Grand Prix. 'There is a scatter of times because drivers have been running different set-ups this morning. We concentrated on monitoring the brakes and tyres, two areas which can provide a potential problem for everyone on this circuit. Overall, we're happy with our findings.'

Ricardo Zonta (BAR) was fastest, ahead of Mika Hakkinen (McLaren) and Michael Schumacher (Ferrari). David Coulthard, fourth fastest for McLaren, had a spin due to a problem with the rear suspension.

The warm-up was run in warm, sunny conditions and temperatures are expected to rise to 28 deg. C for the 53-lap race this afternoon.
