Esat Digifone, Ireland's fastest growing mobile phone operator is the first Irish commercial sponsor for Jordan Grand Prix. Digifone launched its services in March 1997 and currently has in excess of 460,000 customers. This number far exceeds anything achieved by a second operator entering any mobile market in Europe. Digifone supply members of the Jordan team with all their mobile communications services, enabling them to work using the Digifone network while travellling around the Formula One circuit.
