F1

F1 has benefited from Jordan Grand Prix's participation since 1991, the team bringing colour and a sense of humour to the sport. Formula One (F1) attracted over 53 billion cumulative viewings last year, making it the most televised annual sporting championship in the world.

There are 17 races in the 2002 F1 season and each event counts towards two separate titles - the World Championship for Constructors and the World Championship for Drivers. F1 is unique in motorsport because each team must design, manufacture and develop its own car, which is why the teams' championship is called the 'Constructors' series.

2002 sees a new driver line-up for Jordan, with the return of Giancarlo Fisichella, who had his first F1 race with Jordan in 1997, and the signing of Takuma Sato, in his first F1 season.

Jordan has a new energy and hunger for success and begins the season ready to work hard towards its ultimate goal - winning the F1 World Championship.
